Illustrative practices

Are you wondering if you are doing anything that would be likely to be presented? Are you lacking inspiration? No problem, we propose below thematic ideas that practitioners could approach starting from different contexts of practice (teaching, sport, leisure, adapted physical activities, …):

  • Physical Education Teachers or Trainers: introduction of an original session or cycle that promotes a healthy lifestyle for students; integration of new technologies in physical education and evaluation of the added value provided by these tools; development of initiatives for the development of an “active school” (active breaks, active transportation, recreation facilities, etc.); initiatives promoting the inclusion of all in physical education classes (overweight, students with physical / mental disabilities); etc.
  • Coaches or trainers in the field of sport: evaluation of the added value brought by the integration of new technologies in training and preparation of athletes; development of initiatives for the long-term athlete development (LTAD); setting up activities promoting inclusion in a club / sports association; the impact of coach training that develops new skills that are useful for the physical, social, cognitive, or emotional development of the athlete; implementation of activities that promote the link with other actors involved in the life of athletes (school, society); etc.
  • Physical educators or trainers in the field of adapted physical activities or leisure: evaluation of the added value brought by the integration of new technologies in the supervision of specific audiences (overweight / obesity, motor / mental disability, seniors, chronic diseases , etc.); development of initiatives for the adoption of a lifelong active lifestyle for specific audiences; implementation of activities promoting the integration of specific audiences within the activities of clubs / associations / schools; local initiatives to move the inhabitants of a locality or neighborhood; etc.

A poster template

You have identified something that you are doing (and have done) that would be likely to be presented but you do not see how to present it? Do you think it’s too complicated? Don’t worry anymore, by taking a look at the sample posters we have selected, you will find that you will be able to produce your own. We even put at your disposal a PowerPoint file to arrange it in ‘your way’ (available in French only):

‘key-to-door’ tools

Describing an exemplary practice (an educational ‘innovation’, a particular organization, a training device, …) is certainly the heart of the presentations / posters that we encourage you to prepare. However, these field experiences will gain in relevance as soon as they can rely on either the most objective information possible, collected from the actors concerned, before, during and / or after the activities; or on personal reflections based on findings from practice.

For practitioners who feel sufficiently motivated, we have selected some examples of information that could be collected and simple tools that can be used without special expertise. We invite you to take a few minutes to discover what is possible without investing too much time:
