The FLAG biennial meeting organising committee is pleased to invite you to join us from the 2nd to the 7th September 2018 in Liège.

The FLAG biennial meeting aims at bringing together scientists working on a wide diversity of fluvial archives.

We especially encourage all young researchers (PhD students and post-doctoral researchers) to present their research related to fluvial environments during this meeting.

The traditional two-day presentation meeting (Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th) will be followed by three daily field trips along the beautiful Ardennian valleys (Wed. 5th, Thursday 6th and Friday 7th).

The presentation and discussion meeting will take place in the central building of the University of Liège located in the city center. The beautiful academic room will host the presentations related to the FLAG’s main foci.

Under the slogan “Small country, great diversity: Belgian rivers from the Pliocene to the Anthropocene”, the three daily excursions will provide the opportunity to explore the Ardennian Meuse catchment as well as neighbouring catchments.
